Baskur
Baskur is a reimagining of elements of traditional nomadic yurt decor through the language of contemporary ceramics. The name comes from the word "baskur" - a special decorative braid that used to encircle the interior space of festive yurts. It carried not only aesthetic meaning in the form of patterns, but also order, protection, and solemnity. We transferred these principles into a graphic interpretation of Kazakh ornamentation. The collection combines the past and the present, aesthetics and functionality. We believe that functional form and cultural memory can coexist and make everyday life a little more meaningful. Each item is handmade in Almaty.

Baskur Bowl
The Baskur bowl is hand-cast from high-temperature semi-porcelain.
Deep blue or bright red on the outside and a simple floral pattern on the inside create a subtle combination of tradition and minimalism.
The bowls can be combined with each other or used in pairs with the Baskur teapot to form a complete and expressive set.
