Halyk is Kazakhstan's largest bank with over KZT 20 trillion of total assets. The bank accounts for over 50% of lending to the real sector of the Kazakh economy. Halyk Bank has one of the largest customer bases, which is served through digital channels and a branch network of more than 540 outlets across the country. Moreover, Halyk Bank operates in Georgia and Uzbekistan. Halyk Bank has the highest credit ratings among commercial banks without foreign participation (at the investment level: Moody's – Baa1 / Fitch – BBB- / S&P – BBB-).
Halyk is widely known for its charitable activities. Over the past 5 years, the bank and the "Halyk" Charitable Foundation have allocated approximately 62 billion tenge toward social projects across the country.

Currently Almaty Museum of Arts’ collection comprises works by groundbreaking Kazakh artists such as Aisha Galimbayeva, Salikhitdin Aytbayev, Moldakhmet Kenbayev, Isatay Isabayev, Makum Kisamedinov, Rysbek Akhmetov, Shaymardan Sariyev, Tokbolat Togysbayev, and Zhanatay Shardenov as well as artists who spent significant time living in Kazakhstan, such as Sergey Kalmykov, Serenjab Baldano and Pavel Zaltsman.
