Şeberhana is a multifunctional creative studio at Almaty Museum of Arts – a space where people of all ages can come together to create, explore, and learn. Come and discover the Workshop at any time, and stay tuned for our upcoming events.

Our programmes draw on the rich history of art and craft in Central Asia. We develop them in collaboration with local and international artists and the wider public, exploring how art and creative practice can contribute to individual and collective wellbeing.
Our programmes encompass art, design, craft, and printmaking, offering one-off creative activities, workshops, and semester-long courses. They provide opportunities to discover creative practices for the first time, as well as to develop them through continued learning and practice.
We are committed to making art and arts education more accessible by creating a space people will want to return to – a place to explore, create, learn, and connect as part of a community.
We will remind you about renewal one month before the expiration date.
We will send you a reminder one month before your membership expires. When you renew your Dostar membership for another year, you will receive a 10% discount on your new membership (provided you present your expired card at the ticket office).

Aşyq Şeberhana
#AşyqŞeberhana: Aşyq Şeberhana (Kaz. open workshop) is our drop-in art activity. This activity is open to people of all ages and is suitable even (and especially!) for beginners to the world of creativity.
Artist Spotlight
#ArtistSpotlight: Every two months Almaty Museum of Arts dedicates a day to an artist from its collection. Discussions, guided tours, film screenings, and workshops provide a deeper look into the artist’s world and creative legacy.
Bizben Birge Jasa
#BizbenBirgeJasa: Bizben birge Jasa (Kaz. create with us) – our paid art workshops for kids and adults. These workshops are led by invited artists, designers, and craftspeople, inspired by works from the museum collection and their own artistic practice.
