A chamber concert as part of the Sounds of art project

Sounds of art is a collaborative cultural and educational project by the Almaty Museum of Arts and the Kazakhstan National Federation of Clubs for UNESCO. It is designed to support and promote Kazakhstan’s talented young musicians through a series of chamber concerts hosted within the museum's spaces. The project brings together music and visual art, establishing a unique platform for creative dialogue across different artistic disciplines, generations, and cultures.

Each concert becomes a distinctive dialogue of the arts, where musical works are performed amidst museum exhibitions. This interaction allows the audience to experience art holistically, uncovering new emotional and conceptual connections between music, painting, sculpture, and contemporary artistic practices.

The aim of the project is to nurture the creative potential of youth and foster interdisciplinary cultural dialogue by integrating live musical performance into the museum environment, implemented under the memorandum between the Almaty Museum of Arts and the Kazakhstan National Federation of Clubs for UNESCO.

The inaugural concert of the Sounds of art project will feature prize-winners of national and international competitions - students from the Almaty Tchaikovsky Music College UNESCO Club.
