We invite you to a lecture dedicated to Anselm Kiefer, an influential contemporary German artist and thinker from the museum's collection, which will be given by curator and researcher Marzhan Alpysbaeva.
The lecture will explore the themes and principles of the artist's practice, which addresses memory, continuous change and the cyclical nature of history. Particular attention will be paid to the artist's personal philosophy and the discussion of ideas relevant to the contemporary viewer.
The lecture will be held in Russian.
