Introduction to Alicja Kwade - Reality, Perception, and Illusion (in Russian)

Almaty Museum of Arts continues its lecture series dedicated to artists represented in the museum’s collection.

We invite you to a lecture exploring the work of Alicja Kwade, an artist who probes the boundaries between reality, perception, and the systems through which we interpret the world.

Kwade’s practice sits at the vital intersection of art, philosophy, and science. By manipulating mirrors, stone, metal, and space, she creates environments where the conventional laws of time and physics appear to lose their stability, challenging our certainty in the material world.

The lecture will be presented by Evgeniya Smelova, PhD, Deputy Director of the Almaty Museum of Arts.
