The program features selected miniatures by Georgian composer Giya Kancheli and piano pieces by Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto. Their restrained and contemplative music invites the listener to slow down, attune to the delicate nuances of sound, and turn inward.
Conceived as a musical gathering, this concert asks nothing of the audience but a willingness to pause for a moment and simply be alone with the music.
Program:
Giya Kancheli – Selected Miniatures
Ryuichi Sakamoto – Selected Piano Pieces
Duration: approximately 60 minutes
