Join us for a workshop with artist Zhanel Shakhan, whose sculpture Tar (“Too tight” in kazakh) is featured in the Musinder exhibition.During the workshop, participants will work with textiles to create a soft, tactile form that gradually finds itself with less and less room to move. It compresses, bends, twists, collides with itself, and eventually begins to push beyond the boundaries that contain it.By the end of the workshop, each participant will create a small textile relief – their own unique soft sculpture.

• All materials are provided. Beginners are welcome.

• We welcome people 12 years old and above!

• Spaces are limited.

• All tickets include museum admission.
